FAQ

FAQ

1. How far in advance should I order my dress?

A: Timing is important when ordering the perfect dress, and we take that as seriously as you do. We advise placing an order a minimum of 8 weeks before you need to wear the wedding dress.

Why so long? The tailoring period for wedding dresses is 10-14 working days, plus a shipping time of 3-8 working days (exact shipping times depend on the carrier and shipping method chosen at Checkout).

The best way to ensure a stress-free shopping experience is to allow plenty of time for our tailoring and shipping periods, plus additional time to try on the dress and make any necessary alterations once it arrives.

2. Can I return or cancel the dress if I change my mind?

A: Our dresses aren't just pulled from a warehouse - once your order is confirmed, our tailors begin selecting materials in the color you requested and cutting fabric based on your measurements. Even standard size dresses are made to order for each customer. The custom nature of our dresses means our cancellation and return policy is stricter than for other items, so it's important to order carefully.

3. Can I order this dress in a different style/fabric/length?

A: Each dress is carefully tailored to match exactly what you see in the photos. If you haven't found exactly what you're looking for yet, the search function can help you find the perfect combination.

4. Do you have photos of other customers wearing the dress?

A: We only have photos of our models wearing the dress, but sometimes customers post photos of themselves in the dress on the product page. You can also post a request for photos and your email on the page, in case others who have bought the dress want to reply with pictures.

5. How can I make sure I’m ordering the right size?

A: When ordering a bridal dress online, you have to pay close attention to check the actual measurements in our size chart and comparing them to your own measurements before placing your order is the best way to avoid size errors.

If you're ordering a custom-sized dress, it's especially important to get your measurements exactly right. Getting professionally measured is the most reliable way to ensure the final product reaches you tailored perfectly. Be sure to check out our measuring guide.

If your size fluctuates or you want to modify the dress slightly, we always leave a few centimeters in the seams so that your local tailor can easily make alterations as needed. If you have any other questions about ordering the right size, don’t hesitate to contact us.

6. Can you customize the size of my dress?

A: Absolutely – If our standard sizes don't work for you, we can make you a custom-sized dress.

Avoid common mistakes by doing the following:

Ask someone else to measure for you.

Take measurements while wearing undergarments similar to what you'll wear with the dress.

Provide a bust measurement from the fullest part of your chest, not your bra size.

For accurate measurements, take your measurements in the latter part of the day rather than the morning.

Measure hollow-to -floor while wearing shoes of the same height you'll wear with the dress.

7. Will I be able to alter my dress if I receive it and it doesn’t fit exactly right?

A: Yes. If your size fluctuates or you want to modify the dress slightly, we always leave a few centimeters in the seams so that your local tailor can easily make alterations as needed. Dresses generally have a margin of 2.5 cm on either side of a seam. Flower detailing, beading or belts/ribbons may limit ability to let a dress out.

8. How do you measure length for the wedding dress if you only collect a hollow to the floor measurement?

A: We use the hollow to the floor measurement to determine where the knee is and then cut the correct length according to the dress design.

9. If I want to wear high heels with the dress, should I add the length of my heel to my hollow to the floor measurement?

A: Yes, our tailor will cut the dress length exactly according to the hollow to the floor measurement you provide. If you'd like the dress longer to better fit when wearing high heels, just add the length you need on to your hollow to the floor measurement.

10. Will my dress exactly match the color I see on your website?

A: There might be a slight difference between the actual dress’ color and what you see in the photo depending on your computer monitor's display settings.
